Tim has spent a life time applying his craftsmanship to many fine homes and commercial buildings. With “Andy” his son, who got his first hammer at age 4,
they have found their niche in the
Flathead Valley.
They have been providing homeowners and contractors with custom log and beam work. Hand scribed and peeled log trusses can be crafted on site at the Bauer Construction shop and log yard then transported and assembled at the home site.
Many log accents can be applied to a home as well for the rustic feel with out the cost and maintenance of a full log home.
Just by adding a log stair case or mantle to a conventional framed home you can create a rustic lodge feeling.
With a saw mill on site and the sawyer “Jeff” Logs can be cut
and milled for accent applications. Logs can also be cut into beams of any specifications, both accent and structural. With the large heated shop planning, staining and distressing can all be done on site. By being able to use pre finished material you end up with a better product and eliminate costly ladder work trying to sand and stain after installation.
